My Favourite Budget Autumn Items, Part 1!

Hi Guys!

Todays post is based on some of my favourite purse friendly buys for the autumn season. You may notice a lot of the items are from newlook but what can I say - I personally feel they are one of the best for price and style. I just think if you spend say £80 at newlook you come out with a lot more  than if you spent the same amount at somewhere like Topshop (not that I dont love topshop but a girls gotta be spend-savvy right?!). Anyway, here is part one of my budget autumn faves - the link to each item is in the title :)

Jacquard Paisley Stripe Tube Skirt - £14.99 Newlook

For me an aztec skirt is just an autumn staple - so when I saw this one for only  £14.99 at Newlook I had to pick it up! I teamed it with a dark red crop from Select Fashion (another bargain at £7.99) some black Newlook heels (£19.99) , a black Missguided bag, and a silver statement necklace from Primark.

You can always count on Newlook for great shoes at low prices, and these brown ankle boots are no exception! I think they look great with a pair of skinny jeans or a cute dress.

Tbh most of my shoe collection is from from New Look, in fact I just can't bring myself to spend more than £25 on a pair at other shops when I know I can get cheaper at New Look, and they will last! It's the same with jewellery too!

An autumn wardrobe wouldn't be complete without a fluffy jumper! And I found this cute one from Miss Selfridge to be not only a lovely colour but very reasonably priced too! :)

I made use of a summer maxi dress (also from Miss Selfridge) by layering the jumper on top & adding a chunky statement necklace! I also added a cute brown Primark bag (£5), a black Topshop Fedora hat (£25) & those brown Newlook boots from before. Voila!

I'm never going to get over my love of cute floral dresses so I decided I may as well update the wardrobe with this autumn coloured one from Newlook! I styled it with my recent pastel blue coat buy from Asos (£80),  green Primark satchel (£3) & green heels also from Primark (£10).

Kapok Patterened Playsuit - £22.99 Ark

I think this print is perfect for autumn and it's also a versatile piece as you can layer it up for a day wear look or wear it on it's own for a night out!

The navy skater skirt is from Forever 21,  the dark red Fedora is River Island (£25), brown shoes are Newlook (£19.99) and the tulip bag is also from Ark (priced at £22.99) which I bought on a recent shopping trip to Manchester! Which Reminds me - check out the awesome breakfast I got in Manchester's amazing cafe "Home Sweet Home":

Donut French Toast with maple syrup, blueberries and crispy bacon (*Homer Simpson druel*)

And Last but not least is this adorable skirt from Newlook. I'm so glad I can start embracing the tartan trend again as it's such a lovely print and a huuuge favourite of mine!

I styled it with my Miss Selfridge camel coat (£59), a beaded Primark Necklace, some black Newlook boots (£19.99), and a green Topshop high neck top (£10) for a very clueless style look :)

And that's all for tonight, thanks for reading and I will be back very soon. If you comment please make sure you leave your blog address so I can check it out - I love reading them! :)

Angel Eye Fashion - The Autumn Edit

Hi Guys,

You may have seen on a previous post that earlier in summer I was lucky enough to attend the amazing Angel Eye Fashion press day (link here), where I received lots of pretty autumn dresses!

Well summer is well and truly gone now so I thought it was time to do a post on how I'm styling/wearing the lovely dresses this season!

 Red dress & Black Crop

Red Floral Dress* - Angel Eye Fashion / Black Crop Top - Boohoo / Brown Bag - £7 Primark / Brown Fedora Hat - £7 Primark / Brown Strappy Heels - £19.99 Newlook

So first up is this pretty red floral dress which I decided to layer up with a black crop top. If there's one thing I can recommend this season then it's to invest in lots of basic plain tops/jumpers, as it just allows you to get so many more outfits out of your favourite dresses (even the summer ones so they don't have to disappear for another year!).

Dark Red Crotchet Trim Dress

Red Skater Dress* - Angel Eye Fashion / Black Fedora Hat - £25 Topshop / Green Satchel - £3 Primark / Daisy Necklace - £7.99 Newlook / Black Heels - £19.99 Newlook

I'm already a keen lover of skater dresses, but this one is extra lovely because of the cute crotchet trim! I think together with the Primark satchel it creates a very vintage style look, which would be cute for a day out somewhere :)

Pink Polka Dot Dress - Date Night Style

Pink Polka Dot Dress* - Angel Eye Fashion / Brown & Black Jacket - Newlook / Black Bow Belt - H&M / Dark Red Fedora Hat - River Island / Dark Red Bag - £7 Primark / Black Heels - Newlook

For this dress I decided to show how it could be styled not only as cute date night outfit, but also into a smart work look (see next pics!). I added a thick bow belt (an old favourite from H&M) which like the previous outfit creates a cute vintage look :)

Pink Polka Dot Dress - Work Style

Pink Polka Dot Dress* - Angel Eye Fashion / Monochrome Jacket - £35 Miss Selfridge / Black Bow Detail Bag - £7 Primark  / Black Strappy Heels - £19.99 Newlook

This is one of my favourite work jackets, I just think it's such a smart yet stylish piece! And the black Primark bag is equally smart and perfect for work.

Autumn Floral Dress

White Floral Dress* - Angel Eye Fashion / Camel Coat - £59 Miss Selfridge / Dark Red Fedora Hat - River Island / Dark Red Bag - £7 Primark / Light Brown Boots - £10 Primark

The final dress I wanted to share with you tonight is my favourite for this season, as the florals and colours just remind me of all the pretty autumn leaves and flowers! :)

I styled it with the beautiful buttoned camel coat, which was a recent Miss Selfridge buy. I was so surprised when it was only £59 as I was expecting to pay a lot more - although the shop assistant did let me in on a little secret that it's actually cheaper to get a winter coat in september, as they hike up the prices the further into winter you get! =O

And that's all of tonights looks! I'm actually already looking forward to purchasing some of Angel Eye Fashion's SS15 collection - just look at this amazing Lookbook and you won't be surprised why! And I would definitely recommend checking them out as they are a brand that seems to be going from strength to strength! :)

Have a lovely week ahead, and see you again soon!
