How I style A Red Kimono

Hey guys!

I was recently on the hunt for a light kimono (particularly for those cooler summer nights) when I found the perfect pretty red one in Newlook! I opted for red instead of the standard floral kimono as I wanted something that wouldn't clash with all my patterned clothing - and florals can be quite limiting! (which is unfortunate as I'm floral obsessed!).

Here are a few ways I styled it...

Florals (of course!)

Newlook Crotchet Hem Red kimono - £19.99 / Newlook Floral Playsuit / Newlook Necklace & Bracelets / Brit-stich White Bag - £35 (discounted from £70) / Missguided White Strappy Heels - £24.99

I'm so in love with my new brit-stitch bag! It's just so pretty and I know I'll be featuring it in many more outfit posts! I managed to take advantage of one of the 50% sales which they have regularly (check their instagram out here to keep an eye out for more) and I paid just £35 rather than £70! Definitely not bad for a quality real leather (and super cute) bag! :)

Bardot Stripes

Topshop Navy Bardot Top - £12 / Topshop Black Fedora Hat - £25 / Topshop Blue Denim Joni Jeans - £36.00 / Missguided Black Bag / Newlook Red Heels - £19.99 / Newlook Daisy Necklace - £7.99

This is such a comfy outfit (particularly due to my favourite Topshop Joni jeans!) and it's perfect for those cloudy summer days! I think the bright red from the kimono and the crotchet detail really livens up a simple striped outfit :)

Aztec Styling

Boohoo Bodycon Aztec Dress - £12 / Newlook Black Fringe bag - £19.99 / Newlook Necklace & Bracelets / Topshop Black Fedora Hat - £25

Aztec prints, crotchet detail, fedora hat & fringe bag = my idea of the perfect festival ensemble! If i was lucky enough to be going to a festival this summer I would definitely be wearing something like this - lots of detail but also really comfy :)

Well thanks so much for reading and see you very soon!

Bank Fashion Bargains!

Hey sweeties!

Back again, this time with more sale bargains/shopping picks!

I've been loving bank fashion recently and managed to pick up a dress I'd already had my eye on for a while for just £15! I also got a cute printed playsuit that is perfect for lounging around in during these lovely summer days which was also a steal at £22! Here's how I styled them:

Red Boho Style Playsuit

Bank Fashion Red Print Playsuit - £22 / Shoe Zone Black Wedge Sandals* - £14.99 Black Topshop Fedora Hat - £25 / Brown Primark Bag / Primark Bracelets - £2.50

This is such a comfy and light playsuit - I know I'll definitely be getting my wear out of it this summer! I also think it's boho style print would make it perfect for a festival or holiday outfit! The wedges from Shoe Zone are not only another bargain item but they're also super comfy and a great addition to the summer shoe collection as they're so versatile and will go with lots! Hurray!

Pink Floral Peter Pan Collar Dress

Bank Fashion Pink Floral Dress - £15 /  Mint Newlook Blazer - £24.99 / White Missguided Strappy Heels - £24.99 /  Pink Miss Selfridge Bag - £29 / Primark Necklace - £3 / Primark Bracelets - £2.50

So happy with what I paid for this, and like the red playsuit it's also comfortable for wear in the hot summer sun as it's made from a thin (and quite silky feeling) material. I do love a good sale bargain! I wore it with my favourite cropped blazer from Newlook for a pretty pastel summer look :)

Hope you enjoyed seeing my bank fashion buys - see you again soon! :)

Falling In Love With Ark Clothing (Again)!

Hey guys!

So I recently nipped into the Ark Clothing store in Leeds and wow, now I remember why I used to love it so much! Back when I was 18 I used to get all my clothes from there as they were so cheap and cute! Well nothings changed and I'm only sorry I didn't get longer to shop - I only had 15 minutes till my bus came but god knows the amount of bags I would have taken home with me should I have had more time!!

Whilst I was there I picked up 3 pairs of shorts and a top, which only came to £76! Pretty good when you compare to some of the other big retailers where that sort of money can't even get you 2 items let alone 4! Anyway, here's some outfits I put together with some of the items I bought :)

Daisy Shorts & White Lazer Cut Top

Ark Clothing Daisy Shorts - £19.99 /  Ark Clothing White Lazer Cut Top - £16.99 / Topshop Fedora Hat / Missguided Black Bag / Accessorize Daisy Necklace / Newlook Heels - £24.99

Gingham Shorts & White Lazer Cut Top

Ark Clothing White Lazer Cut Top - £16.99 / Ark Clothing Gingham Shorts - £19.99 / Missguided Black Bag  / Trinket Avenue Clock Necklace / Topshop Fedora Hat / Primark White Wedges

Since the new trinity shopping centre opened in Leeds I always forget to walk up to Ark as it's a little bit out of where all the shops are (and I'm a lazy lady), but I'm deffo going to make more of an effort to go now I've been reminded just how cuteee and affordable their clothes are! You should check them out if you haven't done so already, and to my american buddies (waves!) they have the prices in dollars too yey! :)

Have a lovely weekend!!
