It really was a lovely afternoon with lots of bloggers and a few companies showcasing their products - such as "Lush" and the wonderful ladies from "Uncommon nonsense" with their beautiful dresses! (See below!)

We got chatting to the guys behind "Cohorted" which is definitely something I am going to try in the near future - who doesn't want a discounted real techniques brush!? We definitely enjoyed their bubble gum iced buns too - thanks guys! :)

We all came away with a huge bag of goodies and I'd really like to thank Hayley from Tea party beauty for going to so much effort to organise the day - what a star! :)

Thanks for reading guys - I'll be posting a lot more frequently this month as I have a couple of exciting events coming up including a press day in London which I am super excited about and a "wonderland couture" themed party (see the amazing invite below!!), PLUS i'll be hosting some giveaways yey!

Until next time :)

Style for less #2 - Get your gingham kicks for only £4.99!

Hi guys!

Hope you've had a great bank holiday weekend!

We thought we'd make the most of todays bank holiday sunshine with a little trip to Otley, which I decided was the perfect opportunity to take my new gingham dress* from hidden fashion out for a spin!

I have to say I really cannot believe what a bargain this dress is! For £4.99 I wasn't expecting much but I can honestly say the material is fantastic quality! It doesn't feel cheap at all and I just love it's feminine classy style! Not to mention it's one of my favourite colours (burgundy) PLUS it's gingham print which like many, I have been obsessed with this year!!

I decided to try and create an affordable look with this lovely piece - so the rest of the items featured are equally budget friendly! The shoes were just £10 from Primark, necklace was £7.99 from Newlook, Satchel was £6 from Primark and belt also from Primark was just £2. This brings you to a total of £31 including the dress which really isn't bad for an entire summer look!

I did add a leather jacket for when it got a bit cooler which obviously brings the price up a bit buttt I'm sure a lot of you will have a leather or black jacket hanging in the wardrobe that you could wear it with too :)

And that's it! Thanks for checking out my post, you can find the link to the dress here and I will definitely be ordering some items from Hidden fashion in the near future now I know it's good quality AND affordable (perfect if you're a shopaholic like me!)

See ya soon!

May Mini Haul!

Hi Guys!

Hope you've all been enjoying this lovely sunshine!

Today I wanted to share with you my "May Mini Haul" featuring some of the items I've purchased so far this month! I have actually been quite good this month spending wise... but there's still time!

Okay first up is this ridiculously cute little polka dot dress from Newlook priced at just £12.99! I say little because it is VERY short. In fact, I'm pretty sure it's a top haha! However, when you're only just pushing 5'3 like me you can get away with these things!! It's not the sort of thing you'd wear round to Sunday dinner with the granny but I think it's perfect for a night out!

I think it looks great teamed with some red Newlook heels and a mini red Topshop satchel, along with a pearly statement necklace from Newlook and some Primark brackets! You can find the link to the dress/top HERE :)

Ohh and here's my face! It's actually really hard to take a selfie with braces on - you either look really angry or just a little too smug. Sorry about that!

Moving on, the next item I want to share with you is this lovely floral mint dress* from Britfash! I already have a silly amount of collar dresses taking over my wardrobe however I needed one that was a little more summery and this pastel dress certainly is that! The material is really light too making it perfect for wearing in the spring-sunshine! Hurray!

I wore it with a silver statement necklace from Newlook, some brown Newlook wedges and a little brown Primark tassel bag :)

You can find the link for the dress here AND they have given me a 10% off code "10OFF1" to share with you guys, so go check them out they have some fabulous dresses! :D

WARNING. Terrible photo quality alert!.....Sorry guys, but the next dress I had to share with you is this bargain of a dress from Primark! Unfortunately I haven't had time to get any decent photos of it but never mind hereeee she is!

I spotted this on the lovely Eva from "xovintagewayoflife"s blog and new it had to be mine! I styled it with my trusty brown Newlook bag, some Newlook strappy wedges and a cute bow belt I got from Dorothy Perkins a while back! It also looks good layered up with a floral skirt as show below!

I do love a good versatile dress and for £13 you can't go wrong! Thank you Primark!!

Another purchase I HAD to share with you are these amazingggg pair of pastel blue heels that I recently bought/ fell in love with from Topshop!! They're so dreamy! I can't wait to wear them to death! :)

Finally, the last thing I want to share with you is in the make up department! It's the "one heck of a blot" from Soap & Glory!

My good friend Lauren recently introduced me to this, after I saw how lovely her skin was looking and had to know what she was using! I have been using this for over a week now and I do think it is a very good product for warding off shine, however I don't think it's any better than the Rimmel powders which I usually use! Plus It's not cheap either at £12 a pop compared to only £3.99 for a Rimmel one!

It does however come in a much better and stronger container than the cheap Rimmel ones (which I am constantly dropping and cracking!). I actually use 2 Rimmel powders - the transparent one over foundation to stop me looking orange (pale lady issues) and the silky beige one if i'm not wearing foundation to give me a bit of colour! But when I tried wearing the "one heck of a blot" without foundation it was just too pale, and since it only comes in one colour... Rimmel wins again!!

Overall I do think it's a good quality powder however I would not repurchase as I am a massive cheapo and would rather not pay 3 times the amount than I usually pay!

So there you go, sorry if i've bored you but thanks for reading anyway! I'll be back soon with some fun posts! :)

Angel Eye Fashion - New Favourite!

Hi Guys!

Hope you're enjoying your week so far! Today I am very excited to share with you an AMAZING dress* that I was recently sent from Angel Eye Fashion! It's an absolutely stunning floral halter neck piece which is 100% my new formal favourite!!

And here it is!

Oh heyy horsey in the background!

At this point me and my photographer (aka the boyfriend) had to flee the field as a load of horses came charging down towards us! Clearly they were so impressed with the dress that they needed to get a closer look!

"And stay out!"

Anyway! I just think it's such a pretty and elegant piece - I love how it flows at the bottom and feels so feminine! I could twirl about in it all day long!

It would be perfect for a special occasion or even if you just fancied going out for a nice meal in the city and wanted something a bit fancy to wear! I accessorised it with some Newlook nude heels (£19.99), a Newlook nude clutch bag (£8.99) and some Primark bracelets which were only £2.50!

You can also get the dress in a mint colour and they have lots of other beautiful pieces, so if you want  to check them out their website link is here and their Facebook page is here !

Hope you liked, and have a great rest of the week!
