Boho Winter Styling - 3 Looks

Hey guys!

Finally managed to shoot some new outfit shots, after lots of failed attempts in these tornado like winds we've been having! This week is all about one of my favourite trends - bohemian. I've always loved the laid back, free spirited feel of boho. And whilst I do tend to sway more towards cute vintage style clothes - I definitely think there's a place in my wardrobe for some key boho pieces.

It tends to be easier (I think) to create bohemian looks in the summer months, but you can still introduce it into your winter outfits too. Here's 3 boho styled outfits I've been wearing this month:

1. Bohemian Tapestry Print And Leather

Tapestry Print Dress - / Leather Jacket - £39.99 Glamorous / Dark Red Bag - £7 Primark / Dark Red Fedora Hat - River Island / Brown Boots - £24.99 New Look

A big part of bohemian style is definitely fun artistic prints - and this dress from is no exception! I love the colours, especially the dark red tones, which I think go really nicely with the fedora & bag accessories. I added a comfy black leather jacket for a finished weekend ready outfit.

2.  Bohemian Layering & Aztec Prints

Aztec Print Swing Dress - £28.00 Glamorous @ Bank Fashion / Mustard Yellow Crop Top - £7.99 Missguided / Layered Necklace - £7.99 New Look / Cream Cardigan* - The Hut / Black Heeled Boots - £35 Miss Selfridge / Black Cross Body Bag - £34 Topshop / Brown Fedora Hat - £7 Primark

In this boho look I layered up a pretty aztec print dress with a bright mustard top, a comfy knit cardigan & a multi layer necklace. I think the bright top contrasts quite nicely against the rest of the darker and more neutral colours of the outfit, to give a lovely pop of colour!

2.  Bohemian White Lace & Pastel Blue

White Lace Dress - £25 / Pastel Blue Coat - £80 Asos / Brown Buckle Bag - £12 Accessorize / Necklace - £7.99 New Look / Brown Boots - £24.99 New Look / Brown Fedora Hat - £7 Primark

Last but not least is my favourite outfit from todays post - because nothing says boho chic quite like a white lace dress! I thought it looked really cute with the pastel blue coat and some brown accessories. And for anyone who might be wondering what kind of crazy person has bare legs in this weather - I have got two pairs of tanned tights on! :)

Thanks for reading - let me know what your favourite boho styles are, and if you liked any of my outfits featured! Or even how you'd style them differently - I always love to get new ideas. :)

See ya soon,

The Christmas Party Dress Post

Hey lovelies,

Hope you've had a great weekend, the last one in november! :o

Can't believe I nearly made it to December without breaking into my advent calendar, but sadly I had a haaauge chocolate craving this morning and bye went door number 1. Happens EVERY YEAR!

Anyways, tonights post is all about finding a Christmas party dress. I've got 3 dresses to show you, which I think would be perfect for a good ol' christmas do.

1. Chi Chi London Dark Red Embellished Skater Dress

Dark Red Embellished Lace Skater Dress - £52.99 Chi Chi London / Black Cross Strap Heels - £27.99 New Look / Black & Gold Bag - Accessorize

This one was an obvious choice for a christmas party, it's got the festive bling detail on the top, not to mention the dark red Christmas-sy colour. It's one of those ones you can twirl around like a mad lady in your living room and feel slightly princess like :) Definitely a favourite recent purchase!

2. Jones & Jones Black Ruby Skater Dress

Black Skater Dress - £60 Jones & Jones* / Silver Bag - Accessorize / Black Cross Strap Heels - £27.99 New Look

You don't have to go for a typical Christmas-sy coloured dress, and I think this beautiful black number could be equally as perfect for your party. And it's not just a boring black dress, it's got lots of pretty detail like the polka dot mesh top, the cute peter pan collar, and the pleated skater skirt to make it extra special :)

I also jazzed it up with a cute shinny silver bag from accessorize! :)

3. Topshop Floral Jacquard Dress

Floral Jacquard Print Dress - £70 Topshop / Black Heeled Boots - £31.50 Miss Selfridge (reduced in black Friday sale) / Black & Gold Bag - Accessorize

The first two dresses are perfect for if you're going to a party, however this year my works christmas do is actually going to be a boozy day out in York, which is why I thought this 3rd option, the Topshop jacquard print dress, would be a good choice.

I think it's pretty enough that it's not just a typical day dress (I love the shininess!) but not too fancy that you look out of place wearing it through the day, and it can easily be dressed down. I styled it with my new favourite black boots from Miss Selfridge (which I got discounted in the black Friday sales hurraaaay) and a black accessorize bag :)

And thats all for tonights post, hope you enjoyed & have a lovely week ahead :)

Exploring Leeds Christmas market wearing Sugarhilll Boutique

Hey guys

So I recently signed up with a PR company called etail PR - I didn't know what to expect as I'd never signed up to one before but I'm so glad I did! Within a few weeks of registering I had already received a beautiful new vintage style shirt dress to review from the lovely people at Sugarhill Boutique!

I decided it would be the perfect dress for an outing to the Leeds Christmas Market since it has quite a festive feel to it. I really love the wine colour of the dress with the cute floral print, and thought it went nicely with my trusty Miss Selfridge camel coat :)

Dina Shirt Dress - £55 Sugarhill Boutique* / Button Camel Coat - £59 Miss Selfridge / Brown Faux Fur Hat - £9 New Look / Statement Necklace - £7.99 New Look / Knee High Socks - £3 Primark / Purple & Black Mini Bag - Miss Selfridge (old)

I actually ended up layering it up with a comfy cream Topshop jumper since we were going to be sat out in the cold all afternoon, and there's only so much that mulled wine can do before you start to freeeeeeze! It's always a bonus when you can get more than one outfit out of an item and this dress is perfect for layering :)

I thought about saving this dress for Chirstmas day, but I just couldn't resist taking it for a spin in the end! :)

The Christmas market was good fun. I just wanted to eat everything from every stall! But I settled with a huuuuge german sausage & a chocolate filled donut. And of course plenty of mulled wine & some "hot honey mead" - which I'd never tried before but it's sooo good!

What about you guys, have you been to any christmas markets yet? And how on earth is it only 1 month until christmas!!?

Please do check out Sugarhill Boutique's website (here), as they have some gorgeous dresses plus lots more lovely items! You can use the code PARTYREADY to get 20% off all dresses until Sunday the 23rd of November (and they even do free delivery too!).

Thanks for reading & see you very soon :)
